Nothing. I was agreeing with you. I must have hit the dispute button out of habit.
The Ukraine wanted their own little fairy tale independence from Russia, but this was foolish because once our military got involved it was the Ukrainians who suffered.
Do you not view it as dangerous if people genuinely believe they are constructing a "perfect" society? What would that even mean?
I definitely view it as dangerous. That was the entire point. Thanks to the recklessness of the Ukraine, Russia was forced to devote its own military to protecting democracy.
If they truly believe it will be "utopian" (i.e. perfect), then yes--as that is a level of delusion which is truly dangerous.
The Ukraine has been trying to create their own Utopian society, which is why the Russian military had to intervene -- to stand up for the rights of their citizens.
