I believe that technological progress is bad because if we evolve our technology to greater heights there is no stopping a robotic take over. In some cases people will say that it has already started, just in disguise. Almost everyone in the USA has a smart phone, most people have become comfortable with them, this comfort makes us vulnerable to a attack, a cyber attack. Think of it, our technology is already advanced imagine if a terrorist group gets a hold of advanced technology; the possibilities for destruction is almost endless. USA has the most nukes in the world and how are they being contained? through technology, now the terrorists know this and would be able to start WWIII or even end the world if they wanted to launch those nukes. Also, in less extreme matters, a kid in school would be able to plagiarize very easily and, if they know what they're doing, change their own grades to higher ones.
