The thing is, I don't think you could come up with anything "fearful" about Obama/Biden.
Their constant appeasement to powers in the Middle East and nonchalant attitude toward terrorism is fearful enough to make people vote for Trump overwhelmingly..
Conservatives could level the very same criticisms to Biden as the liberal cast did to Pence and the media would label it a disgrace and castigate them for their lack of respect for their vice president. It would be tantamount to harassment. No one is even calling for an apology. No one deserves to be harassed when they are merely enjoying a day out with their family. Would you not agree?
It's not that saying Marry Christmas is offensive. It's that saying Happy Holidays is equally unoffensive, and includes more people.
Christmas is a specifically Christian celebration. I do not hear of other religions being encouraged to rename celebrations that pertain to them i.e. Chanukah. Would you agree with this being named otherwise in the name of "minimizing" offence?
"Turn your attention to the inner cities.....etc." We (I hate to use a word I have hated for the last few years, but)...OBSTRUCTED the African American race (hope you don't mind if I use a bit of PC), for over a century. those, mostly on the ...er...right...still do. You can't expect it to improve greatly over 20 or so years, just like you couldn't expect our ruined economy, set back about 60 years, to completely turn around in one decade .... while STILL being obstructed!
Obstructed by whom? Who would seek to prevent black unemployment rates from rising or race relations from improving? How do you explain that both of these, including the income for the average black household have worsened?
ALL lives matter, but when only white ones get a fair shake you cannot expect that grouping ALL together will get ANY attention for the black ones. The "Black Lives Matter" slogan is justified! Accept it, understand it, and you and we will ALL benefit.
They are certainly NOT justified. Does it not strike you as peculiar that under a black president, a quite frankly black power movement like Black Lives Matter has materialised? Their actions do not even assist their own community in any way shape or form; instead they quite literally dismantle it. They are divisive and any president who is seeking to bring unity should not be sanctioning their behaviour, any more than they would the KKK.
The "Democratic track record" and that of the President, were intentionally obstructed by the "do nothing to allow success to Obama Congress", so it's largely on THEM that far less was done. THey held the purse strings. Now, with Trump throwing out the Presidents "Executive Orders", let's see how much more the Donald does for "other colors". "You can't improve a bad cake by changing the frosting!"
Well if what the Donald has done so far for other colours is anything to go by I think it will be a great success and the black community will realise how cheated they were by Mr. Hope and Change. The American economy is already beginning to pick up with his agenda. And if there was any obstruction pertaining to the black community that he faced, with the amount of executive orders Obama passed, he would have managed to do something greater, if it were in his keen interest. He was more interested in his legacy than anything else, as evidenced even by his campaign rhetoric.
I felt Mr. Pence treated them with great respect by refusing to attack them. He was out to enjoy a performance with his family and such behaviour would no doubt have spoiled that. In my view it was rather disrespectful given the context. And how have Trump's supporters been disrespectful?
Carson is a billionaire, the last President was ....what color??
Colour alone is of little consequence here. In fact, it makes it even more woeful that the last president did not have his own community's interests as a priority enough to fight hard for their advancement.
Oprah is one of, (if not THEE) richest woman in the world (she's really a white girl in blackface...). Many OTHER doctors, scientists, Congressmen and Senators are the same "shade", and MOST of it has happened over the last 40 years!
Yes, and good for them. They are not the majority however. Blacks cannot claim success at such an average like their white counterparts can.
A HUGE majority of "blacks" voted Democratic the last 3 elections, and more WOULD HAVE voted THIS time if the conservative character assassination and Gerrymandering of white districts hadn't been so effective!
...Or they became weary of more talk and less action and were crying out for change after looking back at the Democratic track record.
I don't see any groundswell of blacks moving to the "right" (I hate that designation, it's so.....wrong!)
Please explain why such a designation is wrong.
You were saying.....?
Turn your attention to the inner cities and tell me if the black community are rising higher than they did before their beloved black president came into office.
