When I say higher it is usually by a relatively large margin..... I am just saying, not making attacks.

Maybe off topic but America is commonly placed higher in 'smarter people on average statistics'. Maybe that doesn't parallel with the education though.

This question is a bit silly. What do you mean by 'smarter'?

IQ? That would be an invention by people that live by a particular culture etc. If we introduced that test to people who have never written on paper before or done the many tasks that it may require then it would not be a fair test.

Look at what conditions a lot of people in Asia are facing. A lot can't afford many resources and have to work alongside studying. Yet they are still within the smartest in the world. Many just have pens, paper and a teacher.

Given the access to as many resources as they do in some other countries, they will shine even more.

Why do you think Asian kids compete so hard to get international scholarships to study at an AMERICAN college?

Because it is more recognized, has more money etc.
