PS3 is better because of a number of reasons.

-FREE online, plus the OPTION of getting Plastation Plus for the same price as XBL. Plus allows you to do a bunch of stuff like get game demos earlier then others, get discounts off psn games or anything you get off of PSN, and u set ur ps3 up to automatically download game updates. And you get FREE PSN games every 30 days. (all this is still new and isnt out yet as im writing this so some stuff may change)

-Blu-Ray... I dont even have to explain that, anyone who knows anything about life should know that its better not only for graphics but for storage.

-Games, yes games. I like the exclusive ps3 games better then the exclusive 360 ones. Uncharted 2 owns me and my ps3 right now and ModNation Racers, Killzone2, Infamous are great as well. And upcoming multi-platform games like Medal of Honor are going to have ps3 exclusive content.

-PS3 can do everything. There are so many little things you can do with the ps3 that u cant do with 360, like upgrading to a 500GB HDD. and surfing the web.

The only thing 360 is better in is that it has a better collection of XBL downloadable games, but i know that psn currently has nothing interesting when it comes to downloadable games.. besides ps1 classics but eh...

Think about this, if the only thing 360 has on ps3 is games then it wont take long for Sony to wake up and start pushing games (which they have). Thats why ps3 is better.

And for XBL vs PSN, I actually prefer playing on psn because its so much quieter, and i could never understand why ANYONE would wanna talk to someone while they are playing another game?? Seems really stupid and pointless to me, if i really needed to disrupt them from there game id rather just text them. All the features that XBL has over PSN are just "extras" and could easily be missed. Talking with people over a gaming console is completely retarded IMO.

If you watched E3 2010 then you will know that there are so many games coming to ps3 with "exclusive" content only for ps3 for many games coming out later this year. Then theres the 1st party games like Killzone 3, Infamous 2, GT5 that i cant wait for.

1st off its Steve Jobs who made Mac and Bill Gates didnt fuck Jobs over, he STOLE the technology from Jobs. Thats the fact because iv learned that shit in a computer class i took. Steve and his partner made the first personal computer in their garage. Then they took it to this contest to show it off and thats where Bill Gates saw it and he later copied everything Jobs did (see a trend lol) just like how now the new 360 will have built in wi-fi, bigger HDDs, and touch buttons. M$ seriously pisses me off.

But enough of that, cause thats all i remember from that movie... after all it was old and made awhile ago. Anyways yes M$ sucks and fails at pretty much anything they do but thats no need to act like a total dick to people on the net... grow a pair buddy. All ur other points are right tho, PS3 dominates. But the 360 can handle itself, just not as good as the ps3. In fact if M$ didnt fuck over their customers the 360 could be pretty successful ... but sadly no...

BTW this has nothing to do with ur post but why are people caring about how many systems each company sells as arguments?? WHO CARES! Do u work for Sony or M$, no so why do u care. Who cares if for every one gamer that has a ps3 theres 3 that have a 360, doesnt matter. Id rather have a smaller better community to play with then an over populated one that i have to pay for. It just means less people are experiencing the greatness.

After reading some of the other arguments, no one knows what the hell they are talking about!! People supporting PS3 dont know anything about 360 and vice versa.

Both are great, but the PS3 is WAY better. It can update itself with the newest technology (3D), Free online play, Blu-Ray disks for bigger better games, and its the cure to cancer... lol jk but the cure to boredom. And it finally has a strong line up of games for the first half of 2010.

Clearly anyone who supports 360 will say the games are garbage just because thats all they can say. I for one like Uncharted 2, ModNation Racers and many other PS exclusives. I also like not having to swap disks when playing FFXIII. And FREE online is awesome.

IF we talk games then there is no point to this argument. Sure systems are defined by the games they have, but we all have different tastes. But how the systems make use of games is key. Take Uncharted 2, game of the year in 2009 and winning a ton of awards. They tapped into PS3's power and it payed off. The game is simply amazing. When more game developers learn from Naughty Dog (makers of Uncharted 2 for u360 fanboys that never heard of Uncharted) the PS3 will take the lead. PS# exclusives look better then pretty much all 360 games, because they dont have to be on the 360. The only reason people say 360 graphics look better is because the freaking game was made for the 360, then ported to the ps3... not made for the ps3 and ported to the 360 because the PS3 has more advanced technology.

Other then that the 360 is just outdated with its DVD drive and will most likely re-do everything to blu-ray next time around. So all u people saying that blu-ray is overrated, just remember that when u buy the xbox 720 that plays blu-ray.

IF we look at Kinect and PS Move u can clearly see that the only thing both systems are doing now is copying the Wii ... But this is comparing 360 and PS3, and i say PS3 is better.

How exactly is it better online?? I can see if u would have stated that M$ buys out games like GTA so they only come out on XBL, but actually playing the game... hows it better on the 360? The game and how its made is what matters online. Not if u can talk to ur friends while they are playing a totally different game, thats just distracting. And 360s break down after NORMAL usage in most cases, not from overusing it. You are extremely lucky since urs didnt die yet. Finally Blu-Ray is not overrated its just better. It holds more data, just like the dvd hold more then the floppy disk... thats why its suck a big deal. Would u want to be playing games on floppy disks? lol, no because we're better then that. We came out with DVD, then we came out with HD-DVD, then Blu-Ray.

Ok, lets update this a little.. 2010 style (the day before E3)

Now a little background on me, i currently own a ps3 but i have had a 360 for the past 2 years until it got the RRoD. Both systems are great but your points are flawed. PS3 having free online accesses to online games IS A GOOD THING!! and deserves to be mentioned as a PRO over, and over again. Unless you would rather spend the extra $50 u have left over on a paycheck on a subscription, rather then a used game at gamestop. Even tho its only one time a month it still sucks...

True that the PS3 doesnt use the power that it could be using, but now (2010) PS3 games are making use of the technology, just look how freaking amazing Uncharted 2 is. Thats why i'll say this right now, the ps3 is a better system. And you are totally right, graphics arent everything but i wouldnt say i would play something with horrible graphics, thats just disrespecting my HDTV lol...

Um @ your headset argument, i dont think the 360 comes with a headset either (unless im wrong) but that doesnt make a system better then the other. Plus i dont see a point in using a headset, most of the time i never have the need to talk to anyone, mostly because my friends dont play the same games i do, but thats just my opinion.

How is the 360 community better? More 7yr old brats talkin' shit and bad mouthing ur mom while ur trying to play a game... some community. But thats the case on both systems... at least in the cases that iv played. IMO both communities suck because they are filled with ignorant players that need to act their age... but iv had less problems with that on the ps3. Maybe its just because 7yr old can only play halo 3 lol.

And finally, yea you might buy a system just for games, but many MANY people want to INCLUDE their system into their home media centers and both systems allow you to do some pretty awesome stuff. But its because of blu-ray that the ps3 is better then the 360. NOT for the movie part of blu-ray, but the storage aspect. I dont know the specs offhand but the blu-ray disk can hold way more memory allowing for bigger, better games to be developed... that is if they are exclusive to ps3, otherwise developers will cut corners because it has to be released on the 360... thats life.

Now to the future, with Natal/ Kinect vs PS Move ... IMO both useless to me since i like sticking to controllers. But Sony realizes this, and after reading IGN's hands on with SOCOM 4 w/ the PS Move, they say that the motion control will not be "overused" ... in SOCOM you just aim the gun with it motion controllers, theres no extra movements to reload or throwing grenades. It just makes unnatural things u do with a controller more natural. With Kinect u will have to do everything, not really a bad since its all natural (still kicks the wii's ass) but i doubt i will wanna stay up 10 hours straight standing in front of my TV playing the latest HALO.

Moving on from that, PS3 now supports 3D. This is obviously not a big deal to most everybody, but the PS3 has the power/technology to just update itself with the latest technology, which is a PRO. 3DTV's are gonna be just like the HDTV, except they are affordable at first. Still not many people feel the need to buy one, but if u do then the ps3 will support it.

Thats it for me, and thats why i think the ps3 is better. Sorry for the longness of this post.
