I can't believe I actually somewhat agree with you on something, although I haven't done much research on this particular vote yet, so I may change my mind if I learn the details aren't what they seem.

I address the arguments of people who actually show a willingness to participate in civil debate. I insult and ridicule people who resort to insults, ridicule, and banning instead of actually addressing people's arguments and backing up your own arguments. You don't debate, you rant and rave like a crazy guy on the street corner. If you don't like ridicule, stop acting like a jackass to everyone.
