While I too do believe that social media isn't the best, sometimes as humans we need to face reality. We need to own up to our own "mistakes and actions" we can't have always have sunshine and rainbows, sometimes there won't be a bright side until the problem is approached correctly and corrected.

I totally agree with you on that, if a popular celebrity has been shown to do those thing cancelling is 100% valid but canceling for stupid things is pointless and useless.

While not all cops are bad, the entire movement was made to fight for black lives and the injustice reality that they live and have to suffer with. The movement opened many eyes and shows how corrupted the system is, not to cause hatred towards cops. There are many more incidents than just George Floyd, in fact there are thousands that have been silenced and not received justice. Why work for a system that is corrupted rather than trying to help fix it? Social media didn't put sudden hatred on cops, it opened peoples eyes and showed them what was really happening.

Exactly, social media is a hate platform majority of the time, such as twitter. Twitter can spread so much hate as well as false information on peoples opinions or on things happening in our world/country today.

I agree very much on this one. While people do get "cancelled" for valid reasons, sometimes it is caused just out of pure hatred for the person and it can damaged a persons life/reputation.

While social media can link communities together and get people talking about subjects, it can group the wrong type of people together and they can cause and create violence/hate.

Social media can be weaponized. Virtual interference could hijack physical systems essentially creating a cyber attack. Such as the 2016 elections when Russia interfered with the votes.
