It really depends... the government should not tax more unfortunate people like those who earn less than many of us. Then again, the government is only doing this to help Singapore. Thus, it is only our point of view and which way we look at it.
The fact that the kids can talk to the teachers, parents and caregivers who state that they are spoilt in the opposition without getting into any disagreement with them states that we are not spoilt. I agree that independence is diminishing but parents who agree that kids are spoilt and at the same time fret upon us have only themselves to blame. The kids do not teach themselves to be spoilt while it is the parents that raise them to be that way.
I do not think that we are spoilt as despite the generation is "RICH" , it does not necessarily mean that we are spoilt... Our parents may be strict. Those who said that we are spoilt and are parents are saying that they did not train their children properly that causes them to be spoilt.
