Its all relative to your rationality definition. I guess rationality depends on every aspect of personal perception, intelligence, emotions, choices, experiences, psychology etc. This makes up 1 person in millions of different ways. And they all think they are rational in everything. I agree to some degree that emotions and rationality are in conflict, but you can not find a person that is not distorted by biases of all kinds in thinking. Thus we are all irrational in a way to others and rational to ourselves. The same goes for groups, the think they are more rational compared to other groups (muslims/catholics, vegetarians/carnivores, skin colour groups, environmentalists ,political parties etc). And they all explain each other how the world works. This itself is irrational !

Because of the argument ? well of course because it is irrational to get pissed off about it :D

Yes but originally its the religion that made man to fight each other in the first place. Nowadays even if people are not so violent they have strong religious views and they can turn violent to protect them.

Even if it was for a good reason in the beginning then muslims started fighting christians because their religion was "wrong". Religion was the cause of aggression. Even if humans are aggressive by nature they need a reason to use it.

If they dont have a reason they wont become aggressive. religion has caused the debate to end in aggression, turn the views of people into wars, forcing ideas with violence on the peaceful civilizations (colonization).

Point is not why they went there but how they end up. Many of them maybe go for good reasons but fall victim to personal needs and emotions and their intentions change.

Well as for rehabilitation its about psychological counseling and teaching them socializing, work etc. most of courts just throw them in a cell and let them think what bad things they did, come to a conclusion and make a change in themselves. but probably this hasnt worked as well, because most of them are mentally ill or dont have any psychological skills to manage their behavior. So they get out and continue the same way they know best.

They have only one perspective and most extremist religious people are a proof for that, they ignore everyone else views and these extremes are the main cause of violence also.

Of course, research has shown women are as aggressive as men. In some countries women even provide 75% of home violence (mental and physical, throwing things, threatening, attacking with knives, manipulating through children, economical violence, murder etc) . so there is no excuse for not stopping an aggressive woman or man.

Prison could be worse than death. Its a death of persons mental health by social isolation or extreme stress. Its more like prolonged torture. As for changing, nobody rehabilitates them so they cant or probably wont just change without help.

1 point

Its not wrong for right to exist because right does not cause wrong. Thats a reasoning fallacy.

2 points

Probably true, as human needs, emotions like greed, personal wealth and interests, feeling of power rots the mind in time. Seen almost everywhere in history. They should put multiple presidents to work at the same time to prevent it.
