Technology can be used to severely harm people when the wrong people have it. Things such as strike drones have been used to launch attacks without thought of collateral damage. New tech can also be used to spy on the average person. That violates our privacy as citizens of the United States of America. Technology has also caused suicides because of cyberbullying to the point of no return. Even worse people are becoming addicted to their technology and becoming less and less social. If that continues people will eventually lose their social skills and not know how to function in the real world.
