Firstly, my definition of debating is that people from the different teams try to prove that their stand is the right one. In the debate they would not care about other people from the other team might hold a grudge against them. After all. if the people debating are so petty, they should not be a debater in the first place. I do not agree that online debating is more fun than classroom debating. In classroom debate, we can get to see who our opponents are, and since it is a classroom debate, we know that that person is our classmates and friends. So, we would not be that cautious about hurting one another feelings, and we are just having a friendly match. However, in online debate, we may be debating with someone from other places. A total stranger. Most people will be very cautious about their words around a stranger. Therefore, it may not be that fun online debating as people will be too scare of hurting one another feelings to be really debating.
Therefore, i do not agree that online debating is more interesting than classroom debating.
