People are expecting too much from medical sciences because many medical treatment or discoveries have been made and found over the past few years due to advancement in technology, so people are demanding more from medical science, up to the point where people reproach and blame medical researchers if certain treatments for diseases are not found in time. As we now live in a world where the medical field is so advance, people tend to be complacent, thinking that treatments or medicines can be discovered and made on the spot. One example is the cure for cancer. People have been expecting a cure for cancer for years and one criticism towards the medical science field is the question on why cures for other diseases can be found but not cancer. Little do they realize that it takes time and funding for the research team to be able to correctly identify the cause of the illness and come up with a solution. This shows that as because of the generally high success rates in finding antibiotics for most diseases, people take them for granted and expect more and more from the field of medical science. Hence, people are indeed expecting too much from medical science because of the advances of medical science.

The spoken language is more important than the written form when it comes to engaging people. Despite advances in technology and communication methods where people can write to express their feelings or school of thoughts through platforms like blog or email, they hardly capture the hearts of the presenters' audiences as there are little engagement, between the presenter and receiver. However, with the spoken language, it is easier to grap the attention of our audience as we can change the tone of we are saying based on the audiences' reaction. Thus, communication becomes more engaging and an idea can be put across better to others when someone conveys a message via speech.

The link between purpose of TV is to entertain rather than to educate is not explicit.
