Even if the parent is considered that their child is doing drugs, about to commit suicide, or something similar that needs to be handled?

I seriously believe that the parent has a right to take care of their child before the child has the right of privacy.

But only for extreme cases, otherwise you're right, it's just an invasion of privacy, and all trust would be lost from the child.

Those things do sometimes happen, but we need to examine why children in those situations don’t come forward to their parents before taking their life. It is usually because they do not trust their parents. They are less likely to trust their parents after such a massive violation of trust as this. This makes it less likely for that child to come talk to their parents in the future. It drives a wedge between them which means these issues are more likely to result in harm because the child is now even less likely to seek help. It is a tragedy that these situations occur but they won’t be stopped by parents peeking into diaries, and in the long run the loss of trust and the loss of a connection between parent and child as a result of that will end up doing more harm than good.

I, personally, would feel extremely bad that my child didn’t tell me about their situation themselves. That becomes more common if I start peeking into my child’s diaries.

I don't think women should be forced into combat situations. I agree they weren't built for it emotionally or physically. If a woman wants to do it and the Army doesn't have a problem with it, I wouldn't forbid it, but I'm afraid once it's not against the rules women who don't want to be in combat may be forced to be. This will be especially bad if the draft is re instituted. I think mothers, especially, shouldn't be in combat zones, especially if their children are young. I think children need to have their mothers around during those years. It's one thing to be a working mom. It's another to be working on the other side of the world where you can't be home for the kids at night.

Additionally, such types of work do not have harmful influence on women's health and they are able to have a baby.

I disagree with this statement. Because There is also the problem of pregnancies, definitely when "enlisted pregnancy rates jumped from 12 to 19 percent" (Donnelly) in only the past two years. Having combat situations jeopardized because a woman finds out she is pregnant during an extended combat mission would be totally counterproductive to any benefits. There is also the problem of soldiers who don't know they're pregnant yet who might put unnecessary stress on the unborn child in the most fragile early stages of the baby's life.

Women should have absolutely equal rights to try out for positions within the army, whether that's in combat, or administration, or leadership, or any other position. But, by the same logic, they should be tested against men.

Any woman that meets the standards required should be allowed in, there are plenty. Obviously this does put them at a disadvantage, as they do have different body types, but that is what I think is necessary to maintain a balance between strength of military & equal rights.

I totally agree that smoking is horrible. The reason the tabaco companies still make drugs is not only to make money but to help people... in a sense. Pretend just for a moment that you have been smoking a pack a day for two years then all of a sudden no more cigarettes. They have stopped making cigarettes and not even illegally is there any way for you to smoke. Not only would you greatly suffer but you could die from loss of your pleasure. What i do suggest though is that they slowly reduce the amount of cigarettes they make and then completley stop.

Smoking is a certain damage on people's health. It causes many health issues, the most spread of which is lung cancer, the reason of thousands of people's death. Yes, the fact of its unusefulness to the human body is not even debatable.

It's only a choice for the people smoking. What about the children at home that develop asthma because dad was exceeding his rights? Or people in linking places you didn't choose to have lung problems?

It's not fair to those who are forced to inhale second hand smoke by no fault of their own and despite their choice to be free from it.
