Technology has made a positive impact to our society because it has helped many people with their health, education, communication, etc. We can communicate with people in almost any country and help the ill with our technology today. Many teachers started using many different forms of technology to teach students that will be the adults of tomorrow. For example, teachers use PowerPoints to present information, math teachers can teach more information using calculators, and more classes are being created to use and understand computers. Technology has also made people think differently and express their true emotions and opinions. "The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. it lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential" (Steve Ballmer). Technology is advancing and changing the way people live their lives and is improving our potential to accomplish so many new goal with our lives.
