It's absolutely comical how many times the word "culture" appears in the wiki article for Anglo-saxons. The literal first sentence calls them a "cultural group". I highly recommend reading it.

Actually what it is is that you hit certain gene markers because of the traces of semitic DNA mixed with Polish and near-eastern DNA. Technically your race is Polish and the actual semitic DNA you have is less than the Nigerian you have. So ask yourself this question, why would an athiest associate themselves with an ancient semitic religion just because it was unscientifically decided before DNA was even discovered that certain groups would be called "Jews" because they practiced Judaism even though they literally aren't Hebrew or semitic?

Yes, Jew refers to a believer in Judaism, not a race. The word Jew was only redefined as both a race and religion when the Jews were no longer primarily Hebrews. The average Jew is some other race like Polish or German etc. with only traces of semitic DNA, so they redefined themselves as an ethno-religious group called Jews. Of course, "God's chosen people" refers to the Israelites, not a bunch of European people, so they needed to make their religion their race so they could still be God's chosen people despite not really being Hebrew or semitic. The Hebrews themselves were not really a race unto themselves even, because they were most likely just a mixture of Arab and Egyptian DNA.
