I totally disagree with your point. So what if we can gather information more on the internet? Still, during classes, we can be motivated by yours classmates clapping sounds to cheer on you. whereas, for online debate, we can't hear ir laughter. Facial expression is also ecessential here.

Also, are we allowed to find information during real debates? no we can;t. we need to be prepared and gathered all the information we need before debating. if not, this is known as cheating.

Hence, I, as the opposition, disagrees that online debating is more interesting than classroom debate.

I am Lynette from 2E4. For this topic, I am strongly against it, as I personally feel that Classroom debate is far more interesting than Online Debate.

For online debate, I can say that it is quite special, however, it is kind of like "boring". Facing in the computer debating, waiting for others to rebutt or support is a kind of foolish thing. Also, facing the computer for too long can harm your eyes, causing short-sighteness. In addition to this, it does not have any atmosphere or laughter, as what we can see or hear, compared to classroom debate.

Whereas, on the other hand, for classroom debate, it is more fun, and I can gained more experience from it. It gives me a greater sense of inspiration, and a great sense of pride when debating. Facing real opponents in life is very different to online debating, with no one that you would face. This can be very reassuring. Besides that, classroom debate can really make me rebutt to opponents, and when I acheive something successful, I feel very proud of my achievement, the feeling is like when you reached a goal in your life.

To compare and contrast with, online debate is so-called a "fake" debate, while classroom debate is so-called a "real" debate. When facing real opponents in life or classroom, it gives me a greater sense of motivation to rebutt to the opponents, until they are completely defeated. I gets encouraged whenever I strongly disagree with a point they rebutt on.

So, to conclude, I feel that online debating is more interesting than classroom debate, as we need to be positive in life, and not be afraid of anything we do. This, we can feel that we have a goal in life. With this, I end my speech.

Lynette has not yet created any debates.
