I’m sure both sides are ignorant in most wars and beer and cigarettes are never a bad place to start when looking for peace. But question was not specific and torture is a broad term. I never met a soldier I didn’t like although some themselves are tortured souls.
Depends who is doing the torture. If it was abolished completely ‘ then what’s the worst someone could do to you? Torture keeps you on your toes. It also helps you know who’s good or evil. If abolished, what would the bad guys do? Torture has its place but I’m talking William Wallace type freedoms and not at the expense of our morals.
