1) There's a difference between social programs and Socialism. We reject Socialism which is theft, of which Jesus opposed.
2)The right wing gives away more of their money. The left virtue signals to try and get the unearned praise as if they were more giving than they are, which is self righteousness, of which Jesus opposed.
