There is not a "No" answer. How disappointing. Nothing would lead me to believe that at all.

Jesus never abused His power. Jesus was always God and a perfect God does not abuse His powers.

Did you read any of the scripture around those verses, or did just take the verses as they where without taking into consideration surrounding information?

yet the bible itself shows many cases in which he is

You have taken less then twenty verses out of context from the Bible to say "God is evil" and you haven't taken into account the thousands of verses that tell us He is loving, caring, protecting? Don't read the Bible, unless you plan on trying to understand what it says.

So in other words, Jesus lied.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Jesus did not lie. Read this:

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless - Psalms 84: 11

Basically, God will grant you what ever you desire, when you become so close to God, through prayer, reading His Holy Word, and walking with Him. Your desires must be His desires.

Actually, it's nothing at all like speaking to a friend. A friend doesn't ignore you when you need help. If you really need a friend to do something, he or she will do it. An imaginary friend however, is much less reliable, as you've come to accept.

God does not ignore you if there are no walls between the both of you. God has three basic answers to every prayer. Yes, No, Wait. He will rather grant you what you pray for, say no, or have you wait.

Bible is the authoritative word on prayer

The Bible is the authoritative word on life.

Everyone should have the right to get married. Period, thats all there is to it.

In addition, those who post religious arguments will be banned without hesitation and with extreme prejudice.

You post saying "there is no meddling God" And then go on to say religious arguments are not aloud. That, my friend, is not the proper way to go about things.

Braking someone else's promise isn't wrong. If Obama broke his promise then it wrong. Thats like me promising I won't say something and getting angry when my friend says it. Makes no sense ;p

Drugs can destroy people and their families. Making them more available to the public would make things worse.

I think flexibility can be good, but we need to make sure we don't take it to far.

I do think eloquence is dying out, and I am no exception. Some may blame the educational system for the lack of larger vocabulary in people, but I think that its a lack of reading. When we read, we learn new words, and new ways to use words we already know.
