You've raised the topic of criminal offence. Your argument here seems to be about daily life, and that they should be helped. I'm sure no one will disagree with you on that, but on the topic that you started with, I think they should be treated no one differently, as (in most cases) they do have control over their actions. There are legitimate legal defenses that a disabled person could pursue, such as provocation if they were being teased or insulted, but they should not be given special treatment purely because of their disability.
While I do agree that it is possible to find good music today, some music is truly incredible, I feel that it was EASIER to find good music in previous generations. Your main point seems to be that older generations are dismissive of younger work, and that it is still possible to find quality music. However, our generation (yes, I'm 17) seems to be dismissive of older generations' work.
Way back when, in the times of Classical Music, composers such as Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven wrote music after many years of study in theory and practice. Modern(er) music, e.g. classic rock, I find to be much more bearable than some of the garbage produced by the music industry these days. Modern music can be made by anyone, and while this does provide freedom and opportunity, professional composition should be left to, well, the professionals. Not to say that I dislike ALL Modern music, in fact I find it to be at times more creative, but I find Older music more considered and intelligent.
As an Agnostic Atheist, while I disagree with the ideas of religion, I do not disagree with the ideals. The Bible, Qu'ran, or any other religious texts lack credibility merely by disagreeing with each other on any possible "fact". However, Religion, especially Christianity and Catholicism as I have experienced, are beneficial in terms of teaching morals and ethics. I feel that if we could remove the link that has been forged between religion and morality, we could move forward in society.
