So why is that one can fly all the way around the world, in a spherical fashion?
What I am trying to say is there should not be non-religous marriage. Atheists should not marry, if they are rejecting religion. If this was followed, THEN you couldn't have a non-religious marriage.
Since the season is over I can post this. HAHA SUCKER! he had a BETTER season! and Tomlinson was just injured all season. I'm truly sorry, I just got a little excited. Im a huge Vikings fan so you can see where I was coming from. I also have alot of respect for Tomlinson, dont get me wrong.
I think it all depends on your beliefs. If you Believe God created the earth, or if you believe He doesn't exist and it was created by the Big Bang, your right either way. Of course, since neither solutions can be vindicated, you are right merely by theory, not fact.
I would say it is a self-evident statement. As of right now, what we know to be true is that all men die. It is obvious. It is an axiom. However, This statement is not necessarily a universal truth. When I say universal that means, not only throughout the universe, but all periods of time. Yet, it is still a self-evident statement.
That is a very good point, I like it. This is real thinking.
Yes, you have pretty much hit the nail on the head for a definition. But can you say with full vindication that every man will die? You never know what things are unknown? I'm not necessarily saying your right or wrong, I am just stating arguments to keep people thinking. Its a hard question no person has been able to answer for thousands of years, and most likely will never be able to answer, but it is fun to ponder.
Well all truths that you believe to be true are used everyday. Why not use what you have to argue universality? Do you understand what I am saying?
Well why post a response like your's on this debate topic and not on the other debates involving more unimportant things. I just wanted to post this to get you guys thinking. This particular question is thousands of years old and lingers out there without an answer.
Well the Answer "No, There is no universal truth" could not be a universal truth if there are none.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
