Good point. Power leads to corruption. Would help if we had term limits on Congress-less time to become corrupt or to figure out new ways to be corrupt! But, you are also right in the one that sucks more is the Reps!

You are exactly right. This is a medical procedure between a woman and her doctor. We can not foresee all possible situations or conditions. It is not like you can just go out there and any doctor will do it. I do agree if there were more support for people to adopt and more support for single women who feel they can not financially keep there child that there would be less abortions.

We all know who the worst President is: brought us into a deep recession, started a war on false pretense, allowed the largest terrorist attack on American soil, Lost the most jobs of any President, etc, etc, etc, etc---GWB gets that award.

I think you summed it up nicely! Thanks for the comprehensive post.

I agree. There is not any good debate against him here. We should be debating the starting point. He has been good for Women's issues, he has been good for Healthcare, he has increased jobs/decreased unemployment, the stock market recovered. Would be amazing to see what could have been accomplished if he had some help from the House.

Obama has only ever signed laws expanding gun owners' rights. One of those pro-gun laws took effect in February 2010 and allows people to carry loaded firearms into the Grand Canyon and other national parks. The other major pro-gun law Obama signed allows Amtrak passengers to carry guns in checked baggage, reversing a ban that was put in place after 9/11, according to USA Today.

So, you are saying your children do not Honor you? This is the scripture you posted:

Matthew 15:1-9

English Standard Version (ESV)

Traditions and Commandments

15 Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and said, 2 “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat.” 3 He answered them, “And why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’ 5 But you say, ‘If anyone tells his father or his mother, “What you would have gained from me is given to God,”[a] 6 he need not honor his father.’ So for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word[b] of God. 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said:

8 “‘This people honors me with their lips,

but their heart is far from me;

9 in vain do they worship me,

teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”

What do you mean telling lies? You need to explain your argument.

Yes, if you look at the stories of Jesus, he was a good role model. He helped and loved everyone. He never turned a person away-not even prostitutes or criminals. He believed in feeding everyone. From a WWJD website: 1)He embraced the outcasts--Jesus demonstrated the love of God by accepting the castaways of society. This provoked great disdain from the religious establishment. But Jesus was much less squeamish than most about embracing the sinful and sickly, the unseemly and unimportant. 2)He restored broken lives--Jesus provided for people's physical and financial needs (Matt. 14:14-21-21, 17:27). He cast out demons (Luke 4:36), healed broken bodies (Luke 5:17), raised the dead (John 11:1-44), and forgave the sins of the guilty (Matt. 9:6).
