"The American citizens have a right to be protected from terrorism, by ANY means necessary"
You're right, why don't we just nuke the entire middle east? Hell let's just nuke every country we don't like so that Americans can live happily ever after. After all, America is the only real country in the world, the other ones don't matter because we don't live there.
It really pisses me off when these ignorant patriots think that they can do whatever they want in the name of war or protecting their country.
I hope you understand what I'm getting at here.
Gun control is an interesting topic. The majority of Americans would say no to gun control because of the fear of government over-reach. After all, it is our 2nd amendment right to bear arms to protect ourselves. But if gun control works.. why not try it? England and Australia have had gun control laws in effect for years now and the statistics don't lie. Gun related crimes and violence have decreased significantly in both countries. In fact, in England most police officers don't even carry guns.
With all the information, it all comes down to the citizens trust in the government. If the citizens give up their 2nd amendment right to the government, it only gives room for more government over-reach. But if we did, the United States would be a little more safer.
