Islam has shown its barbarism throughout the centuries. Long before policies based on Oil and American Military bases on Saudi land, there was the Battle of Tripoli. The Barbary Wars which included this battle was a result of Arab piracy against American ships where Barbary pirates would attack American merchant ships in an attempt to extort money for the lives of captured American sailors, and essentially terrorizing civilians, much like their standard operating procedure with European ships. In March 1785, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to negotiate with Tripoli's envoy, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman. Upon asking the Arab envoy, "concerning the ground of the pretensions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury", the ambassador replied, "It is written in our Koran", that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every Muslim who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. Clearly Islamic terrorism was a well established tactic for centuries. We can see this in Islamic history as well. Fast forward to today, and we see not just Americans being murdered, but anywhere you look in the world, Muslims are terrorizing non-Muslims. Surely the foreign policy of the entire world cant be that bad.

I am trying to convey to you that this conflict has nothing to do with the Palestinians. Fatah is sitting pretty in the West Bank just waiting for a state, and Israel is ready to give it to them, but Hamas isnt letting it happen. This is more about a proxy war between Israel and Iran(Hamas) and Syria(Hezbollah). The Palestinians are unfortunately caught in the middle. I admit that Israel has made mistakes in the past. It is a conflict, there are deaths on both sides. However, when Israeli shell cause collateral damage and kill several Palestinians, they show remorse, they publicly admit it is a mistake, and they never intentionally target those civilians. On the other side however, the Palestinian militants specifically target Israeli civilians and aim for civilian homes. I do not agree with the settlers however these settlers are like red-neck ranchers in the US, they shoot when you trespass, they dont go out at night looking for Palestinians to murder, like Hamas does with both the Palestinians and Israelis. I do not deny that most Palestinian casualties are civilians, but again, Israelis dont target them purposely, Hamas' tactics are to blame. The UN and other "impartial" organizations also denied the existence of "Pallywood" and Hamas human shields, partly because they refuse gun camera footage from Israeli planes as evidence, some of the most concrete evidence available, talk about bias. Yet, the Goldstone Report had no problem accepting independent research done by Palestinians organizations and footage from Palestinian cameras. I invite you to go online and just watch some of the gun camera footage from Operation Cast Lead, you will see that the Israeli rules of engagement and the way they apply themselves in battle are completely legal and justified when considering what they have to put up with from Hamas.

LOL, those 1400 Mexicans dont make it a life goal to "kill Jews." The Arabs have killed more Palestinians than Israel and those were targeted killings. The Arabs kill more of each other in one month than Israel has killed in 10 years. And you expect me to believe that Israel is the war criminal of the region? give me a break! The Palestinians were offered 97% of the territory they had made an offer for, so dont give me that crap. They want all of it, not just their own state, if they had wanted their own state they would have gotten one after 60 years. Why is it that the West Bank is flourishing compared to Gaza? The West bank builds new hospitals, a mall, schools. While Hamas is busy digging tunnels in Gaza. Now Gaza has significant problems with crime, corruption, and drugs. Are you gonna tell me that Israel made it so? As soon as Hamas came to power, they spent all their money on Iranian weapons and made Gaza a shithole.

The Palestinians were given a chance for a state several years ago, they elected Hamas instead and waged war on Israel. They could have had a state by now had they elected a peaceful government. Israel is just defending itself as any other nation would. How would the US react if Mexico falls under Islamic fundamentalist law tomorrow and begins to fire rockets into Texas and California?

Why is it then that Israel has always made concessions for Peace, land for peace, political power for peace, but the Arabs have never once denounced their violent belief. Think of it this way, if Hamas was democratically elected, which it was, what does that say about the Palestinians? How can we allow a nation like that run by terrorists who want nothing but our destruction. They beat their women, kill their gays, and lynch their non-Muslims. Does this sound like a peaceful populace to you? Those 1400 were killed not because of Israelis targeting them, but because of the fact that Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas in the world, and because of the ruthless tactics Hamas uses utilizing their own women and children. They send 14 year olds to checkpoints with live grenades in their bag. How can you make peace with such an ideology. Israel does everything it can to stop casualties but it is impossible to prevent them completely. Did you know the IDF is the only military in the world that does not permit their soldiers to engage the enemy without authorization, even if their position is being fired upon? Honestly, taking into account historical statistics, that 1400 you speak of would probably be 14,000 had it been the US or Russia dealing with the Palestinians, in place of Israel.

Do some research and you will see what Hamas does to its own people. They kill them if they support Israel. They install Islamic law and executes homosexuals and others publicly. They use human shields and create dirty propaganda against Jews. DO you know that Israeli Arabs were surveyed recently, and almost all of them say they would rather live under Israeli rule than Arab rule, because Israel is a democracy, these other groups wipe out their own citizens!

What does Hamas' charter say? "A Palestinian State will run from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean", "the Jews will be expelled". Does this sound like peace to you? Why would Israel allow a nation on its borders like this?

1 point

And Israel isnt stupid enough to give Hamas(Iranian funded) a state where they can wage war from. You dont see the big picture do you? You give the Arabs a finger, they take the whole hand. They want us out of the region or dead, that is Hamas' charter, what dont you get?
