Social networks will actually cause a problem when you go out with your friends. Most of the time your friends would be concentrated on their phones with Facebook and Twitter on, and you can't really spend time with them well
I agree with this statement as nowadays, once students get back home, first thing they do is go onto Facebook. Although they get to interact with their friends, their family is ignored most of the time and their parents only see them for dinner. Students which do not use social media have more of a 'life' and can go out to interact with friends, rather than hiding behind a computer. When I go out with my friends, most of the time they are on their phones and busily typing away on Facebook or Twitter. Conservation hardly develops.
A founder is a person who does all the work, not the person who discovers the land
Raffles because he dumped all his work to Farquhar for a better life in Bencoolen
He only appointed, what else did he do? Farquhar had helped SIngapore so much, example the rat and centipede problem
It was Farquhar who used the funds to create Singapore, Raffles only provided the money, how does that make him the founder?
What did Raffles do to help Singapore, Farquhar did most of the work.
Once when Singapore had an centpede and rats problem, Faquhar helped greatly by awarding people who killed centipedes or rats, whereas Raffles did not care at all, did nothing.
It was clearly meant for the local's entertainment and this benefits both parties, the government by gaining money for problems and citizens for entertainment.
