I suppose a school dress isn't good for every ones personality and could restrict the pupils. Moreover, I think the FOS Bamberg should not introduce an equal uniform, as probably the status symbols aren't than the cloths anymore, however instead of this maybe smartphones. What is more, I assume that suits and skirts, which you wear the whole day, will get very uncomfortable at all and perhaps the students feel more restricted.
I think a dress code could have lots of advantages. First, the corporate feeling in class should get better, as everyone is wearing equal cloths. Second, nobody is getting bullied because of his or her appearance. Everyone wants to be respected and nobody should be suspend by his/her classmates.
Furthermore, school uniforms save time in the morning. You haven't the decision what to wear, you must wear the school clothing.
Another aspect for a dress code in school could be that the students are working more concentrated, because no one is wearing inappropriate shirts or for instance too short skirts/shorts, which normally could deflect.
Perhaps digital communication can be dangerous, however we cant live without. I think that if you use it right and a bit carefully nothing will happen. But unfortunately there are sometimes exceptions like cyberbullying too. I suppose that using social media in an appropriate way would not be very dangerous for the involved people.
I would not say that digital communication is my life, but certainly it is playing a main role in almost every teenagers daily routine. Furthermore, I think that I cant live without social media anymore. Today everyone has a smartphone, because it is so easy to communicate. It takes just some seconds to contact your friends. I would assert that lots of teens use there smartphone more than two Hours a day, as everyone has social medias like WhatsApp, Instagram or Snapchat. Perhaps, some use it as a status symbol, too. So all in all I think that nowadays we cant avoid social media and digitalization anymore.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
