It's a virus. That's it. All it would say about COVID is "hey, look I'm clearly beatable!"
I get the skill point you are making but just think, the average hight of an NBA player is 6'6'', while the average hight of an WNBA player is 5'6”. This is pretty much the same as saying that female boxers should fight with the male boxers. Or that we should alow NBA players to play in the WNBA. There gets to a point where it is more about keeping the players safe than trying to keep things equal. Not trying to sound sexist but women are more often than not smaller and weaker then men. It just wouldn't be safe.
Now while this may make me sound extremely sexist if women played in the NBA they would be at a huge disadvantage. The average hight of an NBA player is 6'6'', while the average hight of an WNBA player is 5'6”.
