Soccer is so much better than basketball for many reasons. 1) On average every player in soccer runs about 10km per match compared to something near 3km for an average basketball player, and that's an average. A good midfielder would run nearly 15km per match. You need to be way way fitter to play football. 2) Also in football you (obviously) use your feet. In basketball you (again, obviously) use your hands. Hand eye coordination come more natural to people because you more often use your hands in every day life therefore you need more hard work to become better at football. 3) There are clearly way more people that play and support soccer in the world compared to basketball. 3.5 billion people support soccer, therefore using that number, at least 3 billion of those people have played football competitively in their life. This means that it is so much harder to become a pro or even semi-pro footballer compared to becoming a pro or semi-pro basketball player.
I could go on and on about why soccer is better than basketball, but I really don't think that I need to.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
