I can show you the planets! Look up into the night sky on a clear night, they're there. You say that I'll just to wait and see if God exists? Have you waited? Have you seen him on Judgement day or purgatory? If so, please tell me about it so I can know what the weather's like before I book the flights.

Ok, don't even assume there are billions of planets. You can't deny the existence of Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Venus, Mercury, Saturn, can you? So why did God make all of these planets? What's the meaning of Mars and Jupiter etc?

Why don't you believe in evolution?...........................

I am not saying for one second that life exists on other planets. I am just like you with that. You're right, there is no reason to assume there is, we have no evidence for it. But why shouldn't there be? When you consider the billions of planets in the universe, it does seem unlikely that ours is the only one that has life, so it's plausible that there is life on other planets, but we haven't proven it, and we are in the process of proving/disproving it right now by searching the planets for life.

That is how science works. You create a theory/hypothesis, then you set out to either prove it or disprove it before it gets recognised as a fact. Why doesn't that happen with religion? Why is religion taken immediately as true and not tested? If a scientist came up to you and said 'hey, these tablets will make you live forever', you wouldn't just take them would you? He could be wrong and the tablets may have severe side effects or be poisonous, you have no reason to trust that what he is saying is tru. But if the bible says that God exists, you immediately believe that without the need for any evidence. Why?

My argument there was in response to your statement 'all atheists are fools'. I am explaining that it's foolish to believe something for which the evidence is only what is said in a book.

It would be foolish to go against the evidence. Here's an analogy:

There is a person standing with a gun in front of you, and he's going to pull the trigger. You just saw him load the gun and you can see the bullets in it, but it says on a piece of paper that the gun will not fire a bullet. You have the chance to step out of the way quickly, or stay in front of the gun. By your logic, you would stay in front of the gun, despite seeing it loaded and ready to shoot. Why do you stay in front of the gun? Because it says in a book that the gun is safe and you're ignoring the fact that you saw the gun loaded. The book doesn't say how it knows the gun isn't loaded, it just says it is. What's more likely to happen (by far)? You get shot.

Why is there so much suffering God? Why are there small children starving to death? Why are there horrible diseases such as malaria and cancer? A God who 'loves' all would not put these things on the planet would he? If he loves us all, why make so many of us suffer? God, if he exists, is not kind or loving.

That is why I do not love God.

Dinosaurs DID exist. We have their remains with us right now! And we've dated them to at least 65 million years ago. You cannot just say 'I do not need this answered'. That is being closed minded. The answer has already been found, God didn't create the universe.

Also, why did God make all the billions of other planets in the universe? Where these all failed attempts? They can't have been because God is omniscient, he knows what he's doing; yet these billions of other planets are still there. Why did he make the human body so complex if he's omnipotent? Why bother with enzymes and the stomach and intestines? Why even have us eat at all? And then, after 6 days of creating all of this, the OMNIPOTENT and omniscient God needs to rest. The story of genesis has so many questions about it. Plants were made before the sun yet they need to sun to photosynthesise (by the way, I assume you believe that the genesis account is true since you don't believe in evolution).

There is far more evidence for evolution than just being able to mutate a gene. We have actually seen evolution happening, on small scales, but it's evolution. We know random mutation happens. Some people are born with a fifth limb or only 3 limbs or a limb growing out of their abdomen. This is how natural selection then works. The person with the most advantageous mutation survives, breeds and that mutation becomes common to all of the future offspring from that first mutant. People without the advantage will go extinct or create more species themselves. Minor adaptations do happen, I assume you're saying. So suppose lots of minor adaptation took place (which they have). Then that would be evolution. Read back over my analogy about the baby growing into an old person. The change consists of lots of little changes over a vast amount of time. It is GRADUAL.

To say evolution doesn't and hasn't happened is like saying that you don't have a right hand when you can see it in front of you attached to your wrist. There is no reason whatsoever to assume the hand isn't there. You can see it, feel it and observe it. So to say that evolution is wrong, when we can see it happening today and we can understand it, is not reasonable at all.
