Judaism is the best because the Tanakh says so. Hinduism is the best because the Vedas say so. Your argument is not valid or sound.
I support research, but WHAT?? A stem cell is classified a stem cell because of pluripotent abilities, how does a cell that is already developed into something else (Neuron, Skeletal tissue, etc) go back and become pluripotent?
Stem cells do have broad potential, and that is why research should continue and be funded.
How does the president alone break the country when he has no power to simply do as he wishes. He is not a king and this is not a monarchy. Laws and measures are done through congress. The president does have the gift of gab and the ability to persuade people, but he does not have the power to "bankrupt" the country.
Faith should definitely be scrutinized regardless of the denomination. Belief that is not supported by logic or evidence is fruitless. If believers think that non-believers have no reasoning or ground to stand on, they can and should ask for evidence or reasoning by which they reject said religious belief. The same goes for non-believers in regards to believers. If we, as a society, do not question or criticize, how do we then discover truth?
