Wow. That's pretty good.

And I agree. People need to face the facts a little better.

However, we should probably all just give it up and try to be nice about these things.

Yes. I always want to pick up a 70 pound animal clubbing me with its tail.

Of course, not all dogs are big, and not all of the small ones are ugly and ridiculously annoying. However, cats are easier to pick up and, often, hug. Plus they purr when you be nice to them.

Fair enough. I won't argue with that since it's true. I just think the opinion should be backed up by fact. (But, no, it doesn't have to.)

If there wasn't an afterlife, then what would one be afterwards? Is it possible to be nothing? Really, that kind of thing is beyond human comprehension.

For one thing, people have to have souls. Everyone has a kind of light in their eyes before death, and if people don't have a soul then how come we haven't created any humans? Taken dead ones and made their hearts beat and brains function? It would be very hard, but possible, if we isn't have souls. So, in that case, there would be some kind of afterlife for our souls anyway.

If this matter is right and ethical, why are people trying so hard to make everyone believe that it's so? If it's a fact that unborn people aren't persons, then why are you bothering to tell us? It's like telling someone the grass is green. Everyone knows that, it's a fact. Why bother explaining it to someone? So if this is such an obvious fact, why do you have to make everyone understand it with an added disguise?

"The beauty of freedom". The beauty of destroying lives before they were tasted. I hope I'm not the only one who can't see the "beauty" in this.

And just because you've made a hard choice, doesn't mean it was the right one.

But really, this isn't about the feelings or non feelings of a fetus. If it hadn't been killed before it lived, what could it have lied to be, to do? Maybe it would've been bad, or good. But then killing it just because I can't feel yet...

I think every person on earth has enjoyed some part of their life, but now we're saying that only those who are wanted by their mother can live. When did humans start to get to pick favorites? It's disgusting! All this whining about suicide when we're committing murder under the weak protest of them not being people!

Before abortion, people still had the problem of not wanting their babies. But without anything to do about it, they dealt with it. What if it was your ancestor who'd been killed before being born? It could have been. Humans are getting so arrogant and blind. At this rate we could end up doing as much as killing living people just because of defects or whatnot. Am I the only one who's read The Giver?

Well if you love reading so much you should be able to be happy that you have so many books, maybe a bit proud. Anyway, that's what bags are for.

About the ruining of the pages, I get that, I honestly do. However, if you have something made of paper (which everyone undoubtedly does), then that's just a thing that happens. Besides, books are like companions; you wouldn't leave them behind just because someone easier to work with came along, would you? Sure books are inanimate objects(?) But there's still a sense of loyalty there, one must admit.

People are planting trees for all the ones they use for paper.. the thing said about the killing of trees isn't entirely true.

I think they cannot. Devices for reading ebooks cost much more than a normal book, let alone just getting a library card. Plus that means that people with less money (which my family is experiencing) couldn't read anymore. It also means that it can be harder for authors to make enough money now, I won't go there because I don't know much about that, but it really seems to discourage the readers and the writers. I couldn't say what things will be like by the time this happens, but if it does, I can't see it going well. And anyway, paper books can be taken places without needing to charge, making them more convenient.
