Whole days dedicated to gay awareness was suggested to be in practice in the debate's description which is what I based my argument on.
When I referred to both as a set of beliefs I meant the belief that either gay awareness or prayer should be shared in school. Being exposed to prayer is not the same thing as requiring prayer either. However whole days being dedicated to gay awareness would be suggesting a bias towards the cause, which in turn could be interpreted as pressure to support the cause.
Neither set of beliefs should be imposed upon children in schools. Nor should the students be sheltered from it. Students should be informed about such subjects just enough to form their own opinions without any pressure from the school officials or systems. So in the end both prayer and gay awareness have no place in school other than in and informative manner.
If the fact that the fetus is not yet a child is not enough of an argument to save it why is it enough to justify killing it?
