Honestly saying, I don't think so. It is really hard to find the news channel or paper that will give you information about the event in the neutral way nowadays (and for free, which is important for mass media). I think, since most of the news corporations are owned by several world biggest companies, they are always filtered, especially through the government interests. As an example RT channel (RussiaToday) which is biggest international Russian channel that broadcasts in English, it's obviously pro-Russian in many news (as well as in Ukraine political crisis) even though it's evident that in some cases Russia is not right (they were even blamed by other news channels in the US). I cannot say that all of the news channels and journalists, journalism in overall, are prejudiced but lately I did not see or read any news that wasn't neutral or showing two sides of the opinions.

I think this it does. Unchecked information which is provided by the citizens might cause serious problems for journalist and viewers. The information that citizens provide might be unchecked and untrustworthy and based on the one-side opinion. It might create chaos and mass hysteria.

The good example is Ukraine's crisis: pro-Russian citizens are posting one things in their social media profiles and pro-Ukrainian another one. There are two sides of the same story but due to political views some journalists and news channels prefer to use only one of them. Of course, people can choose what to read/watch but the bad thing that no one wants to show the whole "picture" of the current situation which, I think, affects the quality of the news and trustworthiness of the news channel.

Most of us are not criminals or terrorists. We are just normal people who just do normal things. In this case I think it is not necessary to track everything what we do and say in the internet. It takes time, money and effort. Plus, you start feeling uncomfortable when someone knows everything about you and store your information. The first thought that I have - "What if they get hacked? What will happen with all these information". I even can't imagine how many lives can be ruined because of that.

However if you order/buy a huge amount of chemicals which can be used as explosives then I think the government needs to pay attention and check who you are and why did you get it. As an example - Breivik from Norway. He could be stopped before bombing and shooting people.

So it's hard to choose if the government should stop spying on people or not. We all want to be safe but we don't want to be tracked.

I'm an international student. When I was applying for the ICM I thought that in case if I don't succeed in staying in the Netherlands I will find a job at home for sure because of my international experience and education. I think international experience gives you more chances and opportunities to find a job but also to develop yourself in a better way. From the business point of view, my employer will know that I know how to develop the business relationships with Dutch because I've lived here for 4 years but at the same time I know how everything works back home so he\she doesn't need to train me or search for another person to be responsible for internal and external relations of the company.

I've added video to my answer. I think it's one the best examples how music affects the ad. Try to imagine this ad without music and you will see that it doesn't make sense at all. Chickens and Mercedes Benz?! But with the music you do understand that actually they're all related and show the perfect body control.

I think if the company uses appropriate music and fitting lyrics for its ad it will work out for them. Otherwise, it is hard to attract the attention and make people want to watch the ad again.

Totally Agree.

I do have pictures where I'm drinking (or already drunk) on Facebook but this doesn't mean that I'm 24/7 wasted alcoholic addict. I think employers can check Facebook profiles if they are so interested in that but they should not take it so serious and judge the person just based on the profile information and pictures. The person can be totally different at the workplace rather than when he or she is with her friends. This is why people separate their personal and work life.

I am really surprised that this kind of website actually exists. Well, people who made it just found a new channel to earn good money! And I don't think they're responsible for divorces. If the person wants to cheat on his\her partner he\she can do it without this website at any place. However, I don't think it is appropriate to advertise it on the TV or radio.

Of course face-to-face communication is always better than the digital one. You get more (real) emotional experience from talking to the person rather than just texting and sending smileys.

However, digital communication is not bad as well. It helps to stay connected in case if it's impossible to meet in person due to the distance.

It's way too much time consuming. Sometimes I don't mention how much time I spend on internet and social media. I even wish not to have it so I can do other things.

However, I am happy that it exists because otherwise it would be impossible for me to stay connected with my relatives which live in another country and with my friends who are all around the world. It will make more difficult and frustrating for me to contact all of them.

I do not worry about the privacy issues. I am not a criminal (and not planning to become) so I don't care if governmental structures check my FB profile. However, there was a case when one guy "stole" my profile picture and published on the well-known Russian forum. It made me very mad and a little bit paranoid because I realized that even with all possible privacy functions on social media people still can access your details. But this fear passed pretty quickly and I continued posting my images :)

Partly. It depends on the product and the person itself. I don't like long text which explain everything in the details. I quickly scan what I need and make my decision based on that.

However, I do agree that for men it's more important to see the picture of the product or service than text.

Also, the quality of the image (quality, position, relatedness, naturalism) affects the perception.
