I do not agree with this.
Though online-debate will make one who is shy or not-so-good in speaking talks more, but it does not means it make the debate as interesting classroom debate. In classroom-debate, the atmosphere is something that will not be seen on online-debate, also, it's interesting to see the expression on your classmates, some are really funny.
Last but not least, classroom-dabate will let one who is shy or not-so-good in speaking develop his/her public speaking skills unlike online-debate, where everyone is hiding behind the screen. Nobody is born with the skills to speak well, you are the essential one who is able to develop it.
Hello people, I'm Xiaowei from 2E3 :D
I think classroom debating is more interesting as compared to online debating as the atmostphere of classroom debating is much more dense than online debating. Online debating are opinions voiced out by netizens behind the screen and we can't see how the people feel thus we are not able to feel how they feel.
Therefore I think classroom debating is much more interesting than online debating as we are able to feel the atmostphere of the debate.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
