I had gone to a private middle school, and now attend a public highschool. If I could, I would prefer the highschool to have uniforms, possibly even a dress code. I admit that waking up every morning was much less hassle knowing what I was going to wear, compared to scavenging for apparell, being unsure, and sometimes switching outfits. It's not as if your uniforms are a death sentence either. You can jazz it up, I know my school allowed necklaces and bracelts, your hair, your shoes, socks, rings, any type of accesory is available. Overall, it is much, much easier.
Severus, as much as I hate to admit it. James picked on Snape while they were teenagers, showing no mercy. Snape does show both sympathy and mercy in secretely helping Harry along the way throughout his whole life. He helps prepare him for the Dark Lord. Though he may still be upset about the abuse he encountered when he was a student, his is able to overcome such bullying and be the bigger man, and help what he should.
Dane Cook! He can be absolutely hilarious without a stupid, annoying, purple puppet. He jokes about everyday life. Dunham just gets plain out annoying, he's stupid humor.
Harry Potter! Twilight is less imaginiative, therefore it is not as interesting. Instead of creating an alternate fantasy world, it debutes all it's quirks and tricks amoung the same world, our world. It's concepts are powerful, yet they involve everyday tactics, ones we too are familiar with, ones we also do everyday. HP is much more far fetched, but in saying that I mean it in the best way possible. Hogwarts and Diagon Alley VS. The real world. Of course the mythical 'underworld' of HP is much more alluring and unfamiliar, all the more reason to desire being apart of that universe, we already have our own world.
Cruelty towards animals should not be tolerated. One who may be convicted of animal abuse, alike sex offenders, should be displayed to the public eye as criminals. They too are breaking a law, the oversee of animal treatment could dramatically change both owner and animal's lives.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
