I think that having technological advancements are bad. The reason they are bad is because in most of schools these days students have phones in their pockets. If a student gets a text message it will distract them from their learning environment and have them pull out their phone. Every time they take out their phone they risk getting it being taken away. You may think that will stop them from looking at their phones? No it doesn’t. Another thing that should be recognized is the students using the computers at school inappropriately. The students when they get an opportunity to use the computers, some kids actually do what they’re supposed to do. The other 70% don’t do what they’re assigned to do. Then if the teacher sees what they are doing they will get in trouble. One last thing is giving the students their own laptop to take home, but in our case they are chromebooks. I have heard many cases of students trying to hack the chromebooks to do what they want to do instead of being blocked by the school wifi. Some people in the school have figured out the wifi password which allows pretty much everything through. So then the teachers can not stop that because they dont even know that's even happening in their classroom. So I ask you, what do you think on the technological advancements these days.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
