Clearly gun crime is a problem in some places. And when we look at gun crime we find it is prevalent in places where citizens have been restricted from having guns and the crooks have all the (illegal) guns. Washington DC is an example.
Add to that the fact that gun crime (in an area) is not related to the guns law-abiding citizens have. Its concentrated in high crime areas where gun laws are weakly enforced – at best.
What we really need is more guns on the street.....legal guns
Never happen. There is oil all over the place and the worst case scenario is that the newer sources are more expensive.
The problem we have is we are too damn stupid to drill and retrieve our own domestic oil and insist on buying it from people who hate us or enjoy taking our $$.
As we move toward alternatives we need to drill for our own oil/gas.
I am not a vegetarian but they have some good arguments on their side. One says that our digestive track is long and matches that of other animals – the ones that don’t eat meat…
We know for a fact eating been increases the chance of getting the #3 killer in the US – colon cancer. And when people check they usually find vegetarians have a near zero cancer rate and heart attack rate well below average.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
