Capitalism is the best because it has proven to take the hardest working people out of poverty and create a stronger society. Creates the most opportunity and the makes a happier population.
they fill min. wage jobs and sell cheaper products. At the same time they buy products from the U.S.
What should change is the welfare laws.
We can't control global warming. You can't measure pollution and you can stop the weather from changing. This isn't communist Russia, we have got to stop trying to control everything. Global warming happens naturally just like erosion.
There is no such things as a stimulus when the government spends .... the more they spend the more you'll pay in tax. The country is in trouble because people got into debt. This stimulus is printed credit. The government has no money to spend. Not only will everybody get taxed for the stimulus but they will be taxed for the interest on the stimulus.
Maybe in the far, far, far future like 1,000,000 years from now. Currently the whole world can live in China, with every corner being a building or complex of some sort. There is a lot of room on this Earth. Look at google earth and see how much free area is available to live on. 90%+ of the Earth has room to live on.
Taking over the world is not their intentions. The power china has can only be preserved if it continues to be the supplier of the world rather than the consumer.
To the post above, China has the strongest military in the world.
Universal health care has a lot of issues. I live in Canada and I know these issues. Pill pushing doctors that don't work hard, a lot of administrative work that push up costs on governments, long lines and extremely long wait times for surgeries and specialty medical attention. I read the first post, that people should be equally entitled for good affordable health care. The fact is that a free market, capitalist, profit driven health care system ends up costing less per person and offers a higher quality of service.
Canada pays $5000 a person per year for health care with an estimate that it will cost $7000 in 20 years. There are 30 million people in Canada and this is the reason why Canada is not as prosperous as other capitalist countries. High taxes create less jobs and innovations. In Canada we pay more taxes than California but we have the same GDP/GSP and same population. Canada actually pays 40% more taxes.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
