yes, all people are technically animals, but not all animals are people. so, technically, men are not the same as animals.

How well you focus in a class is dependent on the individual, not the gender. How much you like a class is also individual, not gender dependent. Besides, the assumption that apparently girls focus more in art, and that apparently boys like gym more doesn't say anything about why it would be better to have those classes single gender.

Also, focusing and liking are two different things. You can't compare the two. Either use "focus" for both genders, or use "like" for both genders.
