Firstly, museums educate people about the past. On top of enriching ourselves with books, museums allow visitors to better understand what it was like in the past. The three dimensional artifacts displayed in the museums enables one to have a closer look and have and interactive experience with them. Without knowledge of history, the past might occur again in the present as matters slowly fade away, then history will repeat itself. 'Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. ' This a saying from George Santayana and I agree with it. Therefore, I feel that museums enlighten us about the old days.
