Debating is a way to show your opinion. Good debating does not hurt anyone or put anyone down. Debating is also a way for people to meet with others of the same opinion.

People Do judge books by their covers. I did a project on this. I had different book covers without titles and showed it to people and recorded what they said about them. The natural human response is to judge, and we can't control what is physically appealing to us or not. However, people can choose books based on recommendations or genre.

We can't really know if animals have thinking intelligent minds like humans, but they might. However, animals can't really communicate with us so we automatically pin them as "dumb beasts".

Will you say that in more official terms SlapShot? I don't think that is really what this website is looking for. If you would please clarify that for the younger users?

As much as I LOVE animals, I think it is pretty harsh to kill the people who kill endangered species. Death penalty is just too harsh.

I am pretty equal, I don't have a overwhelming response, but I think that it is pretty fair. It was a system of direct democracy, in which participating citizens voted directly on legislation and executive bills. Participation was not open to all residents: to vote one had to be an adult, male citizen who owned land and wasn't a slave, and the number of these "varied between 30,000 and 50,000 out of a total population of around 250,000 to 300,000."

Many studies have been conducted that prove that cell phones omit microwaves that can cause a rare type of brain cancer. They also omit those same microwaves when they're charging, so they can cause restless sleep. Are we really letting our children have these?

I think that Communism is a bad thing. I'm not saying it completely bad, but I disagree with the specific concept that someone who may spend a long time studying will be at the exact same rank as someone who is a farmer(Not saying anything against farmers).
