I really feel tied between these two. but the one that is pulling me the most is that we shouldn't, because for one it is very stressful when 5 or 6 classes give you homework each night and you have to stay up late and not get enough sleep to be ready for the next learning day. I'm very compelled to do my homework because i want to just simply pass my classes, but i feel it should be optional, it would cut down on the stress of meeting the unrealistic expectation of "intelligence" which is passing your classes or even just knowing what you are "supposed to do". it is a hoax to make us do the same things every night over and over again. i have read an article which is stating (" For opponents, homework gives less or no benefit when it comes to motivating students to improve performance in school. They oppose what proponents are saying that there is a positive correlation between homework and how students perform in school for the reason that not all students have equal levels of intelligence. What might be helpful and easy for students who are good in a certain subject might be useless and difficult to students who have different levels of intelligence.).via http://connectusfund.org/list-of-10-big-pros-and-cons-of-homework
