Our country has become so twisted, every American civil rights organization, perceives terrorists being tortured in Guantanamo as a violation of their human rights, but look at it this way, if we transferred them from Guantanamo and into the prison in Illinois, as the New York Times put it, "We will save $180 million dollars by closing Guantanamo." The vacant prison in Illinois is still going to cost tax-payer money to run, so in the end, we really will not save any money. And also, about how the prisoners are treated, yes I agree we should treat them humanely, but when they threaten America's safety, and succeed in hurting America, like back on the day the Twin Towers, were hit, and killed 3000 people, it's enough to agree, that these terrorists in Guantanamo should not be treated and given basic rights, when they have declared war against the United States, by acts of terror, and succeeded. I'm glad they have not closed down Guantanamo, because those terrorists deserve to live there and contemplate what horrible things they've done. They should be thankful we haven't slaughtered them for 9/11. Going back to how twisted our country is, we consider these poor terrorists are hurt, when we don't look at ourselves, and see that we do far worse, Abortion, killing innocent babies, is infinitely destructive then punishing, and delivering justice to those who deserve it. How about we send the doctors who perform abortions to Guantanamo? I wouldn't mind.
