A lot of the arguments supporting the "No" side stems from the doubt that the child will actually go to heaven(not christian or not the correct type of christian). It is important to note that even if the child goes to heaven, even though eternal bliss is granted to the child, this may not be the same for the parent. Also, by killing the child, you are also taking possible eternal bliss for future generations of that child.

jainism, because unlike many popular religions, it is impossible for terrorism and/or violence to be justified by jainism. All other religions I can think of at the top of my head(christianity, islam, judaism, buddhism, hinduism, sikhism ....) can and have

Assumptions assume something is truth. Hypothesis provides a possible explanation without any claim for it to be true.

Some random definitions on the internet.

assumption: a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof.

hypothesis: a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation.

Obviously different.

There may exists such things as virtual particles. They pop in and out of existence and their existence have been supported by the casimir effect. Also, by nothing, does this also mean no space?

If there exists a god that had principles for right and wrong, how does that make the god's morality objective. Is it not still subjective morality because it is god's opinion?

Not everyone prays to god when they feel sad. In the end, the sadness is normally resolved by solving the problem that made them sad.

I want to clarify that I am an atheist. I think it would make sense to assume that God exists, however, in order to answer the question. You should not say that God does not make natural disasters because he doesn't exist. Then the debate would be if God exists, not if natural disasters are acts of God. But the debate is talks about natural disasters; so we should assume that God exists.

God is all powerful. god is all knowing. Everything that god wants to happen does happen, if he does not interfere, he wants to not interfere. When he interferes, he wants to change the outcome. Because it is infinitely easy to change outcomes, there is no negative reasons for god not to do what he wants to do. Thus, when a natural disaster is going to happen and God does not stop it, his will is to let it happen. by not stopping the situation when he has all the means to do so, God is the cause of the natural disaster.

Another argument, perhaps stronger than the one mentioned above, is God's creation. God created everything in a way that natural disasters would happen. He could of made everything in the beginning so that natural disasters do not happen but he chose to have natural disasters.

Claims need evidence. Just because there is no evidence for disproving or proving a claim does not make it equal faith. For example, is it more likely that the greek gods exist. this cannot be disproved or proved. Same with the claim that unicorns live in the adromeda galaxy; yet, we can say with confidence that in all likeliness, there are no unicorns in the adromeda galaxy or an alien name bob who enjoys to make alcohol.
