I agree, it is not the gun but the hand of the person in which it is in. It all depends on the person, their character, their feelings, their personality, and the state that they are in. If they have an illness or are in great stress, depression, anxiety, sadness, or anger they are the ones who have control of the gun. Not the other way around. Just like the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, the 20 year old had the gun and was the one to point it at the little children and pull the trigger. He had an illness and his parents did not do anything about it. In fact, as we may all know, his mother kept a collection of guns that were in reach of her sick son's hands. All guns should be out of the reach of infants, youth, and teens. They are kept in homes for collecting, hunting, or protection, and even then guns are not responsible for killing people. People kill people.

No, because this will only lead the child to fear. Yes it may discipline them, but it will not have a good effect on their mentality. Excessive spanking is not necessary and I do not find spanking itself useful. It may lead to psychological or mental trauma, the child may take it in as abuse or discontent in them from the parent or doer of the action. Children will feel the pain and will cry, in fact, they may not feel comfortable around their parents and may not be willing to socialize or share their problems with their parents. This may lead to loneliness, mental injury to the child, or even casting their parents out of their life in the future.

Yes homework, because it helps students develop and master valuable skills such as time-management and self discipline, as well as responsability. Repitition is the best way to master something and doing homework gives practice, helps students think critically, and improve their test scores. It also motivates students to spend as much time as they need to review and is a valuable tool to help students remember what they learned in school. Yet an overload or excessive homework is not very necessary.
