1. If the prostitution were legalized woman basing on their civil rights could start to protect themselves from rape and other sex crime (not being afraid of being arrested for being a prostitute)

2. Prostitutes (sex workers) are one of the essential members of the society who contribute to their families, and to the economy of country they live in

3. There could be another reason why prostitution is not legalized - taxation. The government probably do not know how to tax it properly

There is a working paper named "Prostitution and Sex Crimes" written by Kirby R. Cundiff, PhD, Associate Professor of Finance at Northeastern State University. According to it, it has been calculated that if the prostitution was legal in the United States, the crime rape rate would decrease by almost 25% and there would be a decrease of 25,000 victims each year

According to many constitutions, people have basic and human rights to choose their trade, occupation, profession, which should not be accused or violated. Different people have different brains and circumstances. A lot of woman do not choose to be a prostitution. In some cases, it is the only choice or "it's best alternative (work) available " (Veronica Monet, prostitute).

Human behavior varies under different circumstance but it is his or her right to make choices.
