While it certainly has gotten mind blowing in popularity, it entertains people to watch and makes money. The people who play the sport mostly like what they do. It's more good than bad, do it's a good thing. There is not enough wrong with it to say that it's ridiculous.
Not only can we not afford to annex Puerto Rico, but Puerto Ricans can't afford to be annexed!
As aforementioned, killing someone who is killing the innocent is justified. And not accidentally killing someone. Making an innocent die by a dictator on purpose is what justifies the assassination of them.
Yes. While intelligence is very important, for our race to strive it needs to be in good physical condition.
Absolutely not. When one is called a racist comment, they must consider the fact that it is simply words. They do no real harm and can be ignored. If you are attacked with prejudice, consider that they do not know what they are talking about, so their opinion doesn't even matter.
If it turns out the racism is a physical attack, then that person should be in trouble for the actual harm they caused, not the racism behind it.
Yes, just replace it with weed, a much less health damaging drug. In fact, there have been NO recorded deaths due to usage of the drug.
You cannot necessarily decide what is wrong and right. Nothing DEFINES torture as bad. It doesn't kill, so the universal struggle to thrive is not disturbed. With torture, we potentially save lives to not even take one. It may not always work, but if it's to save the lives of the innocent, we need to take our chances, instead of not doing anything.
The cons of Puerto Rico becoming a state are not only plentiful but apparent. The main reason being that the native inhabitants will not be able and will not want to adapt to the changes presented in becoming a state. Already, living there is too much for some Puerto Rican families to handle. It becoming a state will only push the cost of living further, mainly from the introduction of federal taxes to their people.
Another difficulty in adapting would be the change in their main language. Many natives would not be able to adapt to American society, and may even disrupt peace through protest. This along with many other factors, such as how no longer will they be able to compete in world events like as Miss Universe and the Olympics, will strip them of their independence, which will cause further protest.
All of these cons lead to unnecessary conflict. The United States doesn’t need another state. We have too many to deal with as it is.
