as far as playing the game goes basketball is better because there are no offensive and defensive positions and you have less players in the field, meaning you get the ball more. Soccer also is so much of a team sport, that if there is one bad player they can lose you the game with one mistake, and one goal, where in basketball, bad players can just not get the ball and if they mess up there isnt a huge consequence. Just as a sport to play, basketball is better.
