The believers of any God is independent of the goodness of that God himself.
Imagine you are ill. There is one doctor and 5 nurses. The doc looks at you and says you have terminal cancer and have to go for chemotherapy soon. The 5 nurses chime in unison that its utter nonsense and the bad doctor is just trying to scare you and get more fees out of you since he's a greedy capitalist. Its just a normal flu bug. You go home and take a few panadol, content in the fact that since everyone's opinion is equal, the majority opinion wins.
You die of terminal cancer a month later.
When you can't get them with logic, sarcasm works. XD Everyone is of course entitled to give an opinion. However, the fact remains that either your opinion is a qualified opinion of a unqualified one. Hence 2 things will happen to you:
1: Your qualified opinion is taken into account and respected.
2: Your unqualified opinion is taken for utter blather and claptrap and you die alone and unwanted, spurned among friends and colleagues with only your dozen or so cats for company. And of course they eat your body after you die. XD
When logic fails, sarcasm doesn't penetrate, use exaggeration.
Man. Why should I trust something I cannot see, nor hear, nor touch? Besides, is the Bible not written by men?
Everyone seems to have a different definition of evil. God does not have evil intentions, and therefore is not evil.
Following your argument, Hitler did not have evil intentions, hence Hitler is not evil. If intention is the definition of good and evil, then if I kill every Christian with the intention of sending him/her (lets not be racist XD) to Heaven, I wouldn't be evil. Really?
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
