I agree. Iran's first move after obtaining nuclear weapons would be to wipe out all of Israel only because of their religious beliefs. A country as unstable as Iran should not be trusted at all.

Iran cannot be trusted, though. They are a country that bases its morals and beliefs on Islam, and consistently donates to terrorist organizations in the Middle East. Additionally, even though the United States can check up on Iran's nuclear facilities, Iran would have multiple weeks of notice to hide any evidence of nuclear weapons before the inspection. Iran does not even allow everyone to run for public office. They call themselves a democracy, but must vet every candidate before they run for a political office...if Iran cannot be trusted by its own people, how can it be trusted by other nations in the world?

Iran cannot be trusted. Even though some Iranians want change, it is only a small amount. Extremely conservative leaders from Iran's past such as Ahmadinejad would not hesitate to go against the agreements of the deal if they felt led to by their religion and political affiliations. Additionally, Iran donates money to multiple terrorist organizations...it is not a smart idea for the United States to be in a deal with a country that is so heavyset on their religious ideals.

This is a very good point. By entering into a deal with Iran, we are giving indirect support to the terrorist groups that Iran supports.

The US must give Iran up to 24 days notice about an inspection. That is plenty of time for Iran to hide any evidence of any nuclear weapons they are working on.

This is a good point. Even though Iran claims to be democratic, the Guardian's Council must vet all candidates before they run for political office. How is that democratic? If the Iranian government can censor and pick and choose its candidates, obviously it is untrustworthy. The Iranians cannot be trusted to stick to a nuclear deal when they are driven by religious beliefs...

5 points

I agree. Iran is too untrustworthy and short tempered to have extra money lying around because of the deal. If Iran has extra money, they can continue to donate to terrorist organizations that can be harmful to Americans and other countries in the deal. America is essentially self-sabotaging in this deal.

The Iran Nuclear Deal is an awful idea. The government bases its ideals too heavily in religion and therefore cannot be trusted. Iranian government also consistently gives money to terrorist organizations, so if the United States is appeasing Iran in the deal by giving them more money, the US is essentially donating to terrorist organizations. Finally, the Iranian government is entirely too theocratic with a Supreme Leader and clerics to be trusted to abide by a treaty with other countries, especially ones that do not follow the same religion as they do.

The bill of rights are completely essential for the Constitution. Since the Constitution takes away a lot of our freedoms in order to "reduce the creation of factions", it is necessary that some of our rights can be fully protected by a government document. How would you feel if your freedom of speech was taken away by the national government? We absolutely have to have a bill of rights.

1 point

I agree with you. The Constitution will force our country into a state of tyranny because it gives entirely too much power to the federal government with the necessary and proper, elastic, and supremacy clauses. The states cannot tax people if the national government also taxes them because then the people will turn against the state governments and revolt. The Constitution will do more harm than good for our country.
